Acne prone type of skin can be recognized by gloss and shine, especially around the nose and forehead area, because of the excessive secretions of coetaneous fat in those areas. Acne type of skin is known oily type, it tends to be prone to inflammations, comedogenic rashes (allergies, usually due to a type of product used on the face) and acne.
Oily-acne skin has large pores, and skin may appear loose and even flabby. It can be easily stretched. Skin color is usually homogeneous with acne, and if under the influence of cold or hot temperature, skin can react in a negative way with an appearance of brown or discolored skin patches.
Using a cotton swab soaked in tonic, wipe the surface of your face and neck using light movements, trying not to stretch the skin around the fine facial lines. Avoid eye area. After cleansing and purification of acne skin, apply a moisturizing agent. Silk cream or lotion.
An Anti-Oxidant Toner completes the process of purification, by removing remnants of dirt, and revitalizing acne skin, but most importantly it normalizes the acid-base pH balance.
There are three main steps in the daily, acne skin care:
·Cleaning with 3 in 1 daily deep Gentle Milk Cleanser.
·Exfoliating acne skin with rejuvenating Facial Scrub exfoliant
·Toning up acne skin with Anti-Oxidant Toner pore minimizer
Cleaning – is a most significant part in acne skin care. Skin of all types, regardless of age, needs a thorough daily cleansing.
It is never too early, or too late to begin taking care of acne skin, because the results will continue to affect and impact your appearance for the rest of your life. It must be remembered that skin, is the biggest (most important) organ in our body, which functions (operates) continuously. It is the only part of our body that has direct exposure to sun, wind, cold and all other environmental factors. What detergent we use, what lotion, perfume, cream, what material lays on our skin and who and what we come in contact with in our daily lives, has a direct impact on the condition and deterioration of our skin.
In addition to the cream and make-up, skin collects dirt, dust, and various chemical compounds. For instance… daily, 2 million sweat glands of our skin secrete at least 500 grams of water, urea, lactic acid, salt and carbon dioxide. Imagine what this mixture is capable of forming into by the end of the day, as it all lays on your skin. It violates the balance of our skin and leads to the emergence of many problems. So, please do not forget that a thorough cleansing of your skin can save your skin from premature aging!
Clean, well-maintained skin and body is and should be the appearance of every modern day woman. The traditional way to cleanse the skin is by washing it. However, improper washing can lead to irritations, acne and other problems of the skin. Using a regular soap to wash your face can dissolve the protective water and oil balance layer, which can lead to a pH misbalance, making acne-prone skin even more vulnerable to microbes, open access allergens, and will disrupt the normal process of renewal of the epidermis.
Do not agree with those whose advice is not to wash at all. Not washing acne skin, will lead to clogged pores, and can result in rashes and even more severe skin diseases. Techniques that involve brushing away the dirt from the body and face with a spatula, smearing your skin with fragrances and irrigating with deodorants will lead to inflammations and acne.
Gentle Milk 3 in 1 Daily, is a deep purifying facial cleanser, which cleanses, controls and balances excess production of oil in the problem acne-skin.
Do not forget to wash off cosmetics thoroughly before bedtime!
Peeling or exfoliating – is a process of cleansing and removing excess dead cells in skin. If pores are poorly cleansed and become clogged the irritation may lead to an inflammatory process and acne. If the old cells are not exfoliated, it leads our skin into premature aging, even in persons as young as 20 years of age.
The skin starts to hold the dead cells as an extra protection when bad ecology and poor weather conditions become prominent. The cornea ( upper ) layer becomes thicker and the skin loses its healthy appearance, and becomes discolored.
Peeling is also recommended for persons with oily and acne skin. Therefore oily and acne-prone skin requires peeling 2 to 3 times a week, young and dry skin – 1 to 2 times a week. Do not provide peeling on skin around the eye area.
Scrub / exfoliant, belong to a group of mechanical peelings. They contain solid particles; in the process of scrubbing the particles clean and massage your skin. It very gently shreds away and removes dead cells. Scrub-Cream can be used on the most sensitive skin types. It is the most non-abrasive, effective way to rejuvenate the cells by removing dead skin.
Rejuvenating with Scrub-exfoliator cream will polish and deep-clean your pores. The skin immediately becomes pink and smooth, its tone becomes even, and it becomes more susceptible to the positive effects of other cosmetic products.
Toning-up is the final step in completing the process of skin-purification. It is significant in the recovery of the pH (5.5) levels, which become broken in the process of applying cleansing agents. Tonic removes residual cleansing agents and hard dissolved cosmetics. It aides in deep cleansing of the pores in acne-prone skin, prevents infections, restores normal levels of moisture in the skin, improves blood circulation and lymphatic circulation, evens skin tone, restores firmness and elasticity of the skin, reduces swelling, and accelerates regeneration of cells.
Toning-up has a positive impact on skin-fibers, which are responsible for skins’ natural tone. In addition, it reduces the effect of metal salts that can remain on the face after washing with tap water.
Toning-up returns skins excellent sense of renewal and freshness. Toner for oily and problem skin has disinfecting action, subtending and minimizing pores that contain particles that lead to excessive oil collections and acne. These agents are used after purifying the skin.
Stress is a catalyst in more than half the cases of adult acne. Outbreaks are most likely to occur two days after the onset of some emotional struggle. Your circulation, digestion, and nervous system are all affected. Although dermatologists have long maintained that stress affects skin, only recently has strong scientific evidence emerged showing exactly how this happens. One’s emotional state can play a large part in skin irritations. In fact, some researchers believe that the excess of sweat produced as a result of stress causes breakouts because it clogs the pores on the skin’s surface. Reducing the amount of stress (or learning how to handle it in a better way) can improve your complexion in the same way changing your diet does.
